EFC Plants had the honor of receiving a high-level delegation from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, to discuss potential technical and commercial cooperation.

The visit was led by H.E. Ambassador Kyaw Tin Shein, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and Mr. Ye Tint Tun, Director-General of the Department of Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, along with other senior government officials.

Discussions focused on cooperation in the fields of:

• Production of certified seed potatoes

• Plantation of date palm varieties adapted to Myanmar’s climate and land conditions
